Welcome to Puddleducks Bedford

Puddleducks Nursery in Bedford opened in 2000. Set in the grounds of an old farm estate, the purpose-built nursery boasts a wonderful rural setting in an urban environment. Amazing facilities include a large multi-purpose garden with all-weather facilities, 4 bright and spacious rooms (plus a dreamy sleep room) and an on-sight kitchen for the freshest and healthiest food throughout the day.

Each room has been specially customised with designated room leaders, to provide your child an exciting and fun learning experience. Each has been tailored to age groups of Babies & Toddlers (Ducklings), Tweenies (Ducks) and finally The Early Years (Swans).

There is plenty of natural light and windows to see out onto the beautiful grounds, encouraging the children to enjoy the outdoors and explore nature. The garden really is the jewel of the nursery with a variety of toys and activities, from the fruit and vegetables that the children plant and grow themselves to the country walk, where they can discover mother nature through the seasons.

There is an incredibly experienced and dedicated team led by Sarah who has over 25 years of experience in childcare and education. Having been working together for several years, the team has a real family feel that adds to the best environment for your child to grow in. Our fully-qualified staff are trained in first aid, food health and hygiene with regular refresher training.
